Server Side Tracking For Meta Pixel

Introduction:

Running an e-commerce business requires sharp marketing tactics and accurate data. But relying solely on client-side tracking can be frustrating. To address this challenge, I implemented server-side tracking for his Facebook ads. This powerful solution bypasses browser limitations and ensures data accuracy by sending conversion details directly from their server to Facebook’s servers.

On February 27th, 2024, I used Google Tag Manager (GTM) to set up both the browser-side and server-side components for Facebook conversion tracking. This comprehensive approach ensured smooth data flow and reliable measurement.
